Ivor Walker has been your District Councillor for 24 years. Born and bred in the Ward, he raised his family here and they were schooled locally. He is very knowledgeable about how local government works and how to effect the changes that people want and need. He is deeply involved in Parish Council matters and is Chairman of your local Safer Neighbourhoods Group. Ivor is also committed to making sure that any new development is sensitive to the needs and aspirations of local people. He wants to see schooling invested in to keep standards high, and to make sure that new schools are in place before development is completed. Ivor would like to continue to use his vast experience to fight for Farndon ward.
