Mel Shaw is your District Councillor and has been for the last 4 years. He is a Trustee of the Collingham Youth and Community Centre. He has lived in the Ward for 36 years and is proud to call it ‘home’.

In his work with people in the Ward, he identifies some key issues you have made his priorities. The need to improve parking at Collingham Station, and make sure that more trains stop for passengers at Collingham. The need for affordable homes to be provided to keep our villages and communities vital. The need to ensure that ’rural crime’ is tackled, especially fly-tipping, anti-social behaviour and thefts from rural farms.
